I am a 13 + year Latin Dance instructor with a Master of Fine Arts in Choreography.  My love is to humanize dance, eliminating barriers and language that strive to separate individuals who consider themselves dancers from those who engage in dancing as a part of their humanity. Both are valuable and needed.

I strive in my classes to bring my personal experiences as well as my formal education in dance into the curriculum and teaching of each class. This includes appreciating all people who enter the class, the skills they bring, and the various levels and ways of representing themselves. 

I enjoy dance because no one person owns it. It belongs to us all regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age, socioeconomic status or ability. Something that free and beautiful surely is worth pursuing.
